Captain America tattoo for mikeyadams - raw design

So many moons ago I had planned to get a captain america tattoo designed as such: <da:thumb id="307022523"> 
I've seen it travel around the internet and many have noted in passing that they would be interested in getting this as a tattoo, but I was recently reached by deviantart user mikeyadams that a raw design for the tattoo artist of choice to work off of would be beneficial.

So here it is, folks. If you do get it tattooed, please link me to a photo! I'm so pleased many of you have found meaning in the quote below as I have. It's very comforting.
